I love how Alex connects us to our tribal roots of the Earth. His calm, confident and peaceful presence says 'I am here for you and I am giving you my full attention”. When Alex speaks the rooms seemingly goes silent, and all hearts open ready to receive his wisdom. As a mentor Alex never tells you what you 'should do' or 'need to do', he asks questions for you to reach within, ponder, and allows you the space to feel your way through. For me this is empowering because I am guided inside myself where I can listen to my own heart, and my own soul, and it is in this place that true healing occurs. Taking part in a nature connection group led by Alex brings layers of connection. Connection to nature, connection to the group and connection to myself. Alex’s guidance arises from a place of stillness and gentleness - that encourages you to be there with him too. I have come to see that what Alex shows the people he works with is that although he teaches us to be in nature, actually nature is within us, is us.
Alex is kind and patient. If you are struggling with something he sits with it for a moment and then gives it back to you from a different perspective that oftentimes shifts something, so the struggle melts away.
